Iowa For Freedom (to paint gays as a degradation)
Iowa For Freedom speakers continue to reveal the obvious: That their current campaign against Iowa's Supreme Court justices has absolutely nothing to do with jurisprudence and everything to do with the faith-based war against same-sex marriage:
“It’s a degradation of God’s best design for the family,” said [Chuck] Hurley, who was on the tour representing the center’s political action arm.
Hurley said gay activity degrades and alters the family structure, concluding that the debate is about stable homes.
“An intact father-and- mother marriage is by far more important than a good education, by far more important than their physical health in the well-being of a child,” Hurley said.
Hurley goes further than opposition to gay marriage, though.
“For millennia every sane culture has had restraints on behavior,” Hurley said.
Stable societies have always had restraints on incest and pedophilia, he said, and that should extend to homosexual acts as well.
“Every culture should have safe and sane laws regarding sexuality,” Hurley said.

Be sure to keep an eye on the local Iowa news, where married gay couples and constitutionally-minded judges are soon expected to use their personal gospel to slur, undermine, and roll back the rights of the state's conservative Christians.
Oh wait, what's that? No, the pro-equality side has no desire, interest, or plan to do that? In fact, far more people who embrace fairness actually support everyone's right to true religious freedom, even when it speaks out against their lives and loves?
Oh. Right.
Then what the frick is Chuck Hurley's deal?!?
