Lady can-she-bail-'em? Gaga sets target, demands retailer hit it
Gaga making a certain megastore's big ass packs of paper towel safe for gay wallets? Yes, says the "Born This Way" singer/in-egg traveler.
This from the Advocate, quoting Billboard:
In an exclusive interview with the music publication [Billboard magazine], Gaga reveals she wasn't comfortable with the Target partnership when it first came up as a possibility and that she met with "the entire executive staff" at the company.
"That discussion was one of the most intense conversations I've ever had in a business meeting," Gaga says. "Part of my deal with Target is that they have to start affiliating themselves with LGBT charity groups and begin to reform and make amends for the mistakes they've made in the past ... our relationship is hinged upon their reform in the company to support the gay community and to redeem the mistakes they've made supporting those [antigay] groups."

Hmm. Definitely interesting. And certainly intriguing to those boycott-happy gays who've yet to find a suitable, one-stop alternative for all their razor blade/"Blossom": The Complete 1st Season/Febreze//printer ink/Starbucks-on-the-way-out needs.
And if Gaga's powers of pro-LGBT reform do work their intended wonders? Someone send her to the Republican National Committee, stat!
