Video: Maggie Gallagher, HRC's Moulton talk marriage -- *his* marriage and her refusal to support the same
On C-Span this morn', Human Rights Campaign's Brian Moulton did a fantastic job handling Maggie Gallagher's continued rhetorical tactics (e.g. talking points denying animus' role in marriage bans, umpteenth repeating of her favorite "two great halves of humanity" line, claims steeped in false victimization, feigned confusion regarding difference between a legislative and a direct ballot vote, etc.) so as to highlight the literal, real world reasons why *civil* marriage equality matters to Americans. *REMINDER: Some of the things Maggie has said about us on other, less objective outlets. Among the claims: (1) Gays and even their supporters are "committing several kinds of very serious sins"; (2) Gays "can always control" "behavior," which Maggie admits she finds "unfortunate":
