Audio: Minnesota Family Council becomes even more of a liability to 2012 'protect marriage' fight
And now we have more from Barb Anderson, the top researcher for the group that's leading the charge to write a marriage ban into Minnesota's constitution, the Minnesota Family Council. Because once again we have concrete evidence of Minnesota's primary "protect marriage" group -- the organization that has already partnered with the National Organization For Marriage in anticipation of the 2012 ballot fight -- proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that their larger goals involve far more than gay people's open bars, best man speeches, or chicken dances. So let's get this eye-opening party started, shall we?

Clip 1: Barb suggests that "a lot" of gay teens have been sexually abused, which is why they are "sexually confused" and in need of "change":

Clip 7: Now let's close out with this, Peter and Barb's scoffing at the Southern Poverty Law Center's hate groups list, with Barb going so far as to call it a "badge of honor":

This is your chief "protect marriage" lobby, Minnesota. You now have about seventeen months to decide where to hitch your state's wagon: Onto the rocket jet of peaceful progress, or onto the regressively science-shunning movement that so clearly sees closets as the only acceptable home for not only the lesbian bridal gown, but also the Sapphic sister herself.
We won't tell you how to vote: But we'll make damn sure you know what they're saying.
