Wow, really? Catholic leaders? Using their outreach arms to advocate against civil rights? Whoa, that's different [:eye roll, head shake:]

Another state, another Catholic Conference confusing its faithful membership network for a Political Action Committee. Minnesota, this time:

Call with questions or concerns? How convenient for the Catholic leadership that the Constitution can't anthropomorphize itself/ use the phone.

*REMINDER: The Catholic community has been laying the groundwork for some time. There was the much publicized DVD campaign, wherein the leadership sent a propagandistic film to every parishioner: MN Catholics' new effort: Like Netflix, but with gays' love in the horror category [G-A-Y]

Also, Archbishop John Nienstedt has been incredibly active: Rosary vs the ring finger, MN edition: Keep your eye on Nienstedt! [G-A-Y]

Plus, NOM's Maggie Gallagher and the USCCB's Salvatore Cordileone (often called the "father of Prop 8") have been brought in to speak at local Catholic churches: Cord that's already shocked us now stretching to MN [G-A-Y]
