Maggie and Brian to 'prove' .3% NYers side with them, piss off environmentalists in the process
The National Organization For Marriage's Maggie Gallagher and Brian Brown, along with newfound NOM superstar David Tyree, will join the so-called New Yorkers For Constitutional Freedoms group at an afternoon press conference, wasting paper for no point whatsoever:
Albany, NY - Today New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms welcomes New York Giant David Tyree, Maggie Gallagher, President of the Institute for Marriage and Public Policy (iMAPP), Brian Brown, President, the National Organization for Marriage (NOM) and hundreds of other friends of authentic marriage to the State Capitol
...
At 1:00 PM, there will be a press conference with Tyree, Gallagher and Brown near the Senate Republican Majority Conference Room where 63,000 petitions supporting marriage between one man and one woman will be presented to the Senate Majority Republican Conference.

*EARLIER looks at the so-called New Yorkers For Constitutional Freedoms/ New Yorker's Family Research Foundation:
- Sights and sounds from the group's Albany rally
- Some truly outrageous rhetoric from one of the groups on site, the so-called Jews For Decency.
- One rally participant's call to "Excommunicate Cuomo," simply because NY's Democratic governor supports his gay constituents.
- The New Yorker's Family Research Foundation's heads, Duane Motley and Jason McGuire, have painted this whole civil rights conversation as a war, presented churches as if they are recruiting stations and the Bible itself as a weapon meant to clobber certain kinds of humans, likened marriage equality to child abuse, blamed this whole fight on Satan, and claimed that they're in this fight to save people like Sen. Tom Duane and Assemblyman Danny O'Donnell (both gay) from "an eternity in Hell".
- The New Yorker's Family Research Foundation also promoted their rally and overall marriage efforts with church bulletin inserts that called homosexuality "perverted & twisted" and said that it will lead to the "destruction of your immortal soul."
