NYC 'protect marriage' rally organizer: Satan-officiated gay marriages disrupt more than Crate & Barrel registries
On June 14, Joseph Mattera will lead the opponents to civil marriage equality in a downtown Manhattan rally, alongside groups like the National Organization For Marriage and the New Yorker's Family Research Foundation, part of the continued quest to deny gay people of a certain civil right. A quest to stop Satan from using Brent and Paul's wedding as a way to "disrupt God's plan":
"Satan wanted to disrupt God's plan...we have to stand against same-sex marriage or our civilization is going to go down the tubes...the United States or any country that doesn't honor marriage is doomed"

Well sure, this writer's wedding planner was a little red on a couple of occasions, sometimes from sunburn and sometimes from a bout of embarrassment. But it turns out she was actually Satan? Who knew?!
Oh, and then there's this: Mr. Mattera's shocked that anyone of faith could actually support civil equality. Because you know: Only "heathens" do a thing like that:
Remember, heathens: Come Tuesday, This man is going to be leading a protest rally outside of NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg's office. Feel free to show up to challenge him, if Satan compels you to do so"We thought were were going to talk to some heathen..."
