Video: Putting the CON in consequences, with LGBT-obsessed Rick Santorum

by Jeremy Hooper

Did you know that Vermont public schools are getting into deep discussions involving the intricacies of the transgender experience with students as young as second grade? Uh huh -- Rick Santorum has a friend who says so:

[YT: Faith And The Front Line]

Hey Rick: If a second grader is faced with a transgender child, that is because TRANSGENDER KIDS EXIST, not because same-sex marriage does or does not! So if you want your culture war to apply to LGBT existence itself, then say so. But stop positioning marriage equality as the hinge on which all non-discrimination relies!

And no, second-graders are not getting intense classes on what it means to be T or LGB or S. Basic acceptance? Yes, hopefully! But hardcore discussion on gender identity or sexual orientation that exceeds the sensible boundaries of that age? Sorry, but tens of thousands of children have gone through Vermont schools in the time since civil unions were legalized, and many more in the nearly two years since same-sex marriage started in the state. Criticism of sexual orientation or gender identity schooling is going to have a meet a test higher than "Rick Santorum's friend told him so over appetizers."
