Audio: Liberty Counsel attorney calls pedophiles LGBT activist movement's 'cousins'
"Values" groups from Focus on the Family to the National Organization For Marriage have been working overtime in recent days trying to connect the LGBT equality movement to pedophilia. Now listen to reliably hostile Liberty Counsel staff attorney and Liberty University Dean Matt Barber go even further, as he and Concerned Women For America personality Martha Kleder work to directly link gays to not only pedophilia, but also bestiality:
"We are seeing that the pedophiles are emboldened by their cousins in the homosexual activist movement"
"The sexual anarchy movement -- in this case the division of that movement, the pedophile movement -- is following the playbook of their cousins, the homosexual activist movement, to a tee."
"Once you break the definition of what is or is not normalcy when it comes to sexuality -- once you start saying that all of these philias are no longer philias, that all of these disorders are no longer disorders, and adopting world view that is completely sexually relative, anything goes if it feels good do it -- then how can we say that bestiality is a disorder? Why that's just their sexual orientation.

Now of course pedophilia and bestiality are not sexual orientations, but rather philias that exist in fringe numbers among the entire span of scientifically recognized sexual orientation (SLGB). But those facts don't matter to the Matt Barber crowd. The goal is to make the scariest things they can think of sound just a hop, skip, and an "Ellen" dance away from same-sex marriage and LGBT acceptance in general. So in this negligent world, gays are turned into pedophiles' "cousins," horse-shtoopers are *this close* to marching in the LGBT pride parade, and everyone who is not a heterosexual-identified, conservative Republican Christian is banded together on some contrived "slippery slope." Misinformation receives the premium that responsible people apply to reason.
But hey, it's not like this man works for the legal outlet that's trying to overturn New York's civil marriage law or anything. Oh wait a minute -- HE TOTALLY DOES!
