Audio: Sally continues to clarify that which confused no one
You just gotta laugh at Sally Kern's current book tour, where the Oklahoma state Rep. keeps trying to explain and expound upon the easily understandable comments that earned her a national reputation. Like listen to this clip from Stacy Harp's Active Christian Media podcast, wherein Kern explains the apparent nuance attached to her usage of the phrase "totally embraced":

Oh I see, Sally -- you only think America's going to go up in flames if (and only if) it arrives at a place where it affords total peace of mind for people like me. Well gee, why didn't you just say so in the first place? Because hello -- all is soooo totally forgiven now!! We can now become besties, lying awake at our weekly sleepovers, doing our hair and talking about how to keep me just unequal enough to keep America from destruction! TOTALLY FUN!!
But wait, there's also this clip from the same appearance, where Sally puts gays on par with alcoholics, drug addicts, and prostitutes:

Right, because Sally isn't against anyone. No, no -- she just thinks we are simply changeable sinners whose orientations are like an addiction and our rights are like heat-sinking missiles lying in wait to destroy society. Totally better, right? Ready to go out and vote Kern in the next election, yes?
And if not, then you clearly haven't totally embraced the saracasm-uality lifestyle the way I have.
