Mugged shot: TVC lifts pro-gay photog's pic for own anti-gay promo
The Traditional Values Coalition has been running the following pic of California state senator Mark Leno (D) in order to push its anti-LGBT "Stop SB48" campaign:

Only problem for TVC? They failed to ask the copyright holder, photographer Ramón Burgos-Ruíz, if they could lift his photo…

…and use it for this discriminatory ad campaign. TVC just ignored the copyright note that Ramón was sure to add, proceeding to take his work and use it for their own campaign advertisement (which is certainly not a "fair use" situation). Because that's apparently a "traditional value": the right to devalue others' artistic wishes.
I'm in touch with the pro-equality photographer, who is pretty darn pissed about this SPLC-designated "hate group" jacking his work for their own biased gain. But as I said: The photographer is a support of equal rights, so it's likely TVC won't listen to anything he says anyway.
