Video: FRC blames GLSEN for doc GLSEN didn't even create; so FRC acting like FRC, basically
On a couple of occasions, I've shown you trailers and promotional materials for the Family Research Council fear documentary "The Problem with Same-sex Marriage." Now comes a freshly minted clip from FRC's own Youtube channel, one that features two different heads of two different Southern Poverty Law Center-designated "hate groups":
The truth? This pamphlet, which pointedly uses frank language in order to speak to vulnerable communities in real and conversational terms, was never intended for 18-and-under eyes. A small number of copies were accidentally left at the 2005 GLSEN conference unbeknownst to organizers. When organizers were made aware, they apologized for the mistake, making it perfectly clear that this was in no way a GLSEN-sponsored effort meant to target kids. Alvin McEwen has a handy writeup of it here.
Or go read the Black Blook for yourself on MassResistance's very website. You will not see the word GLSEN anywhere, regardless of how much Tony Perkins might want to call this "GLSEN's Little Black Book."
But hey, why should a measured assessment of an honest error get in the way of FRC's undying agenda? After all, there are far too many activists, pundits, martyr-makers, and fear music composers to keep employed for FRC to ever willingly stop this train, regardless of how many vulnerable human beings are duped, distracted, or destroyed in its dusty wake.
