Misappropriated Ros-Lehtinen pic: Perfect example of NOM's myopic partisanship
If the National Organization For Marriage wants to knock Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) for supporting certain American policies….

…they could, at the very least, use a picture that was taken in the country in question. I say that, because the Getty Image NOM is currently using is of Rep. Ros-Lehtinen testifying in Honduras, not the U.S.:

And even more ironic, in terms of NOM's partisan attack lines: The Congresswoman's Honduran actions were actually very conservative (she was joined by Sen. Jim DeMint, a big NOM buddy), and went against the wishes of the Obama administration and most Democrats. That's because Ros-Lehtinen is actually quite GOP in her voting record, surely on-agenda with NOM more often than not.
But of course none of the facts about Ros-Lehtinen's Republican credentials or her political focus event matters to NOM. All that matters is that the Congresswoman doesn't see marriage discrimination as a GOP value, so NOM is ready to kick her out of the "culture war"-hijacked party. And since Ros-Lehtinen looks angry in this Honduras photo, all the better to flog her with it.
