Top paper seeks Prop video
Saying public access prevails over potential embarrassment, the New York Times has penned an editorial in support of releasing the Prop 8 trial tapes:

Meanwhile, Prop 8 proponents will continue working their "but we don't wanna" defense strategy, only exacerbating the potential embarrassment.
