Chicago Cardinal makes nasty KKK comparison; will surely still claim 'victim' status

Screen Shot 2011-12-22 At 9.01.52 AmWith only days left until Christmas, Chicago's Cardinal Francis George is gifting the world with the outrageously offensive fear that the city's gay pride marchers are just a hop, skip, and pride flag away from the KKK:

"You don't want the gay liberation movement to morph into something like the Ku Klux Klan, demonstrating in the streets against Catholicism."

Right. Because at the holy time like this, all who have dedicated their life to faith must remember what Jesus said about casting unreasoned rhetorical stones at your opposition in order to drum up fears and score cheap political points.

In fact, isn't that what the wise men brought to the newborn king -- gold, frankincense, and "culture war" dictums?
