Video: The Family Leader makes bold choice; bold, since most other orgs want to win
The Family Leader used to run a heinous, rabidly anti-gay program that likened same-sex marriage to secondhand smoking (which is still hosted on this Family Leader site). But today, the organization and its leader, Bob Vander Plaats, might have done even greater damage to their credibility:

There is not a Democrat alive who is scared of Rick Santorum's candidacy. There's not a poll around that gives the ousted U.S. Senator even a marginal chance at getting this nomination. Despite appearing in every debate, Santorum is the one GOP candidate who can't buy a surge. Yet self-professed power player Vander Plaats (himself a thrice failed candidate for Governor) is betting his organization's existence in this crucial election season on the political figure best known for comparing loving gay couples to "man on dog sex"?!
Guess Vander Plaats wants Santorum to give him a Cabinet appointment. By which I mean he must want Santroum to give him the name of the guy who installed his kitchen cabinets, because Rick Santorum is coming about as close to an Oval Office as I am coming to a place of respect for Rick Santorum's hurtful, noxious views.
