The curious case of Anoka-Hennepin: 'Rolling Stone' takes a look

LGBT "culture war" watchers like myself know all about Minnesota's Anoka-Hennepin School District, the rash of suicides that have taken place there over the past few years, and the aggressive campaign that people like the Minnesota Family Council's Barb Anderson have waged in the area. But now, as Minnesota gets extra LGBT focus both because of former presidential candidate Michele Bachmann's years of anti-LGBT "culture warring" and the current attempt to write marriage discrimination into the state's constitution, journalist Sabrina Rubin Erdely is putting some expanded focus on this area via a lengthy new piece for Rolling Stone magazine.
