Matt Comer has a thorough and immensely useful account of Tony Perkins' weekend appearance at Charlotte, North Carolina's First Baptist Church, where the Family Research Council president used his fight against "Satan" and people "who are bound up in lifestyle choices whether it be homosexuality, whether it be adultery, whatever, promiscuity" as reason why congregants should vote against CIVIL marriage equality.
