Vote For Marriage NC aligns with FRC; forfeits mainstream, middle-road, non-partisan pretense
The campaign hoping to besmirch the North Carolina constitution with civil discrimination will soon hop on a bus piloted by the pro-"ex-gay", SPLC-designated "hate group" known as the Family Research Council:
Vote FOR Marriage NC Joins Statewide Bus Tour
RALEIGH, NC—Vote FOR Marriage NC will take part in a statewide Values Bus Tour hosted by the Heritage Foundation and the Family Research Council starting Saturday, March 3rd until Wednesday, March 8. Now on its third month of a national tour, the Values Bus Tour in North Carolina will feature guest appearances from Vote FOR Marriage NC, the referendum committee working to pass the Marriage Protection Amendment on the May 8th ballot. The bus plans to make its first stop at 8 a.m. on Saturday at the Conservative Leadership Conference at the Crabtree Valley Marriott in Raleigh.
“The Values Bus Tour gives Vote FOR Marriage NC the perfect platform for talking with thousands North Carolina voters about the importance of preserving marriage as the union of one man and one woman in our state constitution,” said Tami Fitzgerald, chairwoman of Vote FOR Marriage NC. “In addition to handing out materials, we’ll be working with the Heritage Foundation and the Family Research Council in conducting voter registration drives across the state.”

*For those less familiar with FRC"s track record:FRC is a (Republican) organization that positions gays as kid-threatening disasters in need of "ex-gay" therapy, churns out brochures that compare same-sex marriages to those bonds which might exist between a man and a horse (complete with horse photo), directly likens us to terrorists, calla LGBT rights a battle of "good versus evil," says DADT repeal proponents are "willing to jeopardize our nation’s security to advance the agenda of the radical homosexual lobby," claims gay teens kill themselves because they know that they're "abnormal," says the gay activists who challenge FRC are "held captive by the enemy," writes that same-sex marriage will be "opening the door to all manner of moral and social evil, tweets that gays don't need to "be a slave to feelings," fundraises around the idea that gay kids are immoral and telling them otherwise is "disgusting,"and calls on U.S. gays to be either "exported" or criminalized (to name just a few examples).
