AFA publicly denigrates gay video blogger and his marriage; as Jesus would, of course
Kelvin is a Canadian video blogger who has contributed hundreds of Youtube clips over the past four years. Many of Kelvin's clips are about his love of cooking, often marrying his Cantonese background with more Western cuisines. Though sometimes, Kelvin blogs about his life, his husband, and their adventures, as he did with this 2011 clip focused on Calgary Pride:
This is Kelvin's life as a legally married gay man, which he is choosing to share with the world. A choice which the American Family Association apparently believes gives them the right to take Kelvin's video, strip out the first fifty seconds of it, post to their own YouTube channel…
…then use it to publicly denigrate Kelvin, Matthew, and Matthew's employer:
And yet we're the "militant" ones? Really? You all take our benign demonstrations of family life and blast them out both on your website and in your email networks (I got this sent to me in three diff. emails accounts) and yet we're the ones on the "attack"?
You're losing your ruse, social conservatives!
