Audio: Amendment 1 voice says gays are 'confused', being guided by 'Prince of Darkness'

by Jeremy Hooper

Yesterday, I let you listen to the Family Research Council's Kenyn Cureton say "poor, deluded" gays are operating on behalf of their "malevolent master" the Devil in order to do the work "of Hell itself." Now, from that very same strategy speech in support of North Carolina's Amendment One, listen to this same FRC top dog tell the gathered (including Vote For Marriage NC head Tami Fitzgerald and most everyone else working on the campaign) that gays are "confused people who think they are homosexual" and need to be led into "a better life than what they've got":

And then there's this one, in which Cureton instructs the Amendment One supporters that their battle is against an "evil day" that's being guided by "The Prince of Darkness"

(both clips come from a strategy speech delivered at a 2012 Concerned Women For America conference in support of the NC marriage amendment)

Folks, we have exactly one week to stop this nakedly hostile campaign from marring the Tar Heel state with wanton bias and personal enmity. The Vote For Marriage NC team has more than proven that the agenda goes beyond just the ring finger. Where will they stop if they "win" this war? I, for one, don't care to find out!
