Prez reminds equality backer @EHasselbeck that (a) DOMA is awful, (b) her party still loves it
On tomorrow's edition of "The View" (taped today), President Obama will reportedly talk more about his resistance to the so-called Defense of Marriage Act, contrasted with Romney's plan to create DOMA 2.0:
"Congress is clearly on notice that I think [DOMA is] a bad idea,” the president said in an interview on ABC’s “The View.”
“This is going to be a big contrast in the campaign because you’ve got Governor Romney saying we should actually have a constitutional amendment installing the notion that you can’t have same-sex marriages,” Obama added.
