Vote For Marriage NC's Fitzgerald frames Amendment 1 as 'mighty cause' for Lord; better luck next year, hungry and homeless
Vote For Marriage NC chair Tami Fitzgerald has been seizing God and pitting her vision of the deity against Amendment One opponents since the day this campaign began, so why shouldn't her day-of-vote message do the same?
An "incredible journey" that will ultimately go the way of all civil discrimination to come before it, leaving behind nothing but stirred-up hostilities, a languishing sense of divisiveness, bank accounts that could have been drained in much smarter and productive ways, and legacies that got misguided by a false "values" narrative.
Win or lose, we move onward towards the destination!
