What Mitt Romney supported this weekend

by Jeremy Hooper

Matt Barber, an Associate Dean at the law school, is one of Liberty University's most visible public representatives. Despite voicing his strong Romney aversion all winter, Matt was ecstatic about Mitt Romney's speech at this employer's graduation ceremonies:

So that being the case, it's really important for LGBT, pro-equality, and/or moderate Mitt Romney backers to know what the GOP candidate supported in his weekend speech to this same, LGBT-hostile college. Because the usual LU rhetoric doesn't tend to stop at just marriage or even policy. With people like Matt—who, again, is undeniably LU's most visible/prolific public engagement voice—it is an all-out anti-LGBT free for all:

This LU-sanctioned (and financed) rhetoric deserves no defense. Neither does a party leader who's willing to cater to it.
