Liberty Counsel's Staver: 'Sexual anarchist' Obama pushing 'radical' fair employment practices
The Employment NonDiscrimination Act would do nothing more than protect LGBT workers from unfair employment decision-making. Or give into Obama's sexual anarchist agenda, if the Liberty Counsel's Mat Staver is to be believed:
The implications of ENDA are outrageous and shocking,” said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel. “With the many pressing issues facing our country, it is astounding that Senator Harry Reid and the Democrat-controlled Senate would waste their time pressing a radical and destructive ideology,” commented Staver. “ENDA would highjack every employer to conscript them to join the sexual anarchist agenda so favored by the Obama administration,” concluded Staver. Radical and destructive ideology? And here I thought keeping Connie on the job because of her qualifications rather than her sexual orientation was just oh, I don't know—decent. And American. And good for the work force. And the right thing to do.
Although I really don't know what Mat is so worried about. His employment at the Histrionic Hyperbole Factory seems pretty dang secure! We equality activists are much to concerned with rational concerns and rhetoric to even apply for that gig.
