NOM gearing up to Dump REI?
Yesterday, right after the campaign giant offered its support for marriage equality and its opposition to the attempt to take it away in Washington state, someone purchased the domain name DumpREI.com via a discreet third party:
This would of course follow NOM protocol, considering the anti-LGBT organization has already launched Dump General Mills and Dump Starbucks in opposition of those two companies' stances on the right side of history. If I were a betting man (and I kind of am, incidentally) I'd put money on NOM pitching this new tent in the next few days.
I'm more than confident that REI is well equipped to handle this. If they can deal with bears dumping in the woods, they can surely deal with NOM.
