NOM's trusted speaker again compares homosexuality to incest
In July, Robert Gagnon was a star speaker at the annual conference of the National Organization For Marriage's Ruth Institute (NOM's c3 organization), confabbing alongside NOM personalities Thomas Peters and Jennifer Roback Morse. Carlos Maza has done a tremendous job giving us all insight into what, exactly, went down at that NOM conference. But now, just to give you even more exposure and understanding of the extremities of the NOM agenda, check out this Facebook post written by this same Rob Gagnon:
This is the guy that NOM's Ruth Institute actively recruited for the purpose of guiding young people's views on marriage. This is the guy who NOM's Ruth Institute thinks should help America more fully understand what the civil marriage equality fight is all about. This is what now passes as acceptable NOM engagement.
Mr. Gagnon may think those of us on the side of marriage equality are greasing a slope. However, if we're talking about the slide that separates National Organization For Marriage from the personal animus that it both wants and needs to deny if it is to stay viable in this fight, Mr. Gagnon is like the human embodiment of Crisco.
