MN For Marriage Comm. guy makes joke of his campaign; posts pointless video of drag queen, clubgoers
This morning, I showed you how Minnesota For Marriage's Comm. Guy, andy Parrish, was teasing out some supposedly "explosive" video that he hoped would mitigate the damage done by his pastoral outreach guy's Hitler comparisons. Well, folks—here that #FAIL now, in all its Trumpian glory:
Ooh, a drag queen being bawdy and over-the-top—how damning!
Oh, and in the accompanying text, he literally says of the campaign staffers who were supposedly on site: "[they] looked like they were having a great time." WOW! REAllY?! Was there beer, too?! EXPLOSIVE!
Yeah, Andy—this is really the same thing as comparing the equality movement's tactics to those of Hitler. Uh huh. Sure.
**UPDATE from City Pages blog:
Kate Brickman, press secretary for Minnesotans United for All Families, told City Pages she wouldn't comment on the record because the footage wasn't taken at a Minnesotans United for All Families event. [SOURCE]
It. Wasn't. Even. A. Campaign. Event.
Wow, Andy. FAIL.
