ENDA moves out of Senate committee!
Truly fantastic news: By a bipartisan 15–7 vote, the long-debated Employment Nondiscrimination Act has moved out of U.S. Senate committee:
ENDA Passes Senate Committee [J.M.G]
No clue when it will hit the Senate floor. And then of course there is the deeply conservative House which, as of late, seems more interested in passing go-nowhere repeals of existing legislation than it does with actually passing laws that would protect hardworking Americans.
But for now? Yay, progress.
