American Family Association creates fake AP story
The following hit piece, which features the anti-LGBT stylings of Peter LaBarbera (before changing his name to "Barber" midway through), is not an Associated Press wire story. But the American Family Association's One News Now site is pretending it is:
[SOURCE: AFA's ONN]
It's likely an attempt to add legitimacy to this skewed report, making it sound as if Peter's crude objections are the thing of mainstream punditry. This follows One News Now's past shady practices regarding its AP wire usage, wherein the anti-LGBT "news" outlet has added smear quotes to certain words, as well as altered other terms and context while retaining AP branding.
But hey, why shouldn't a "values" group do such things?

**UPDATE: After 24+ hours and a lot of attention (you're welcome) the AFA has changed the byline to read, "Becky Yeh - California correspondent (OneNewsNow.com)." Of course they've yet to own up to the initial error (deception?).
