Video: Bryan Fischer thanks Fox News for being so friendly to the AFA

by Jeremy Hooper

Bryan Fischer, one of the most jaw-droppingly anti-LGBT figures at the exceedingly anti-LGBT American Family Association, is thanking Fox News for giving free spin time to anti-LGBT commentators like Sandy Rios and Todd Starnes This all part of the AFA's new attempt to "prove" it's not an animus-driven group by attacking and smearing their critics rather than defending the astoundingly anti-LGBT things they've said and done.

But then stick around for a caller who points out the obvious, which Bryan tries to spin himself out of by flat-out lying about what he said:

Bryan is lying about his Undergound Railroad comments. He didn't just apply them to one situation (which would be bad enough)—Bryan made multiple blanket statements (in tweets, blogs, and on his radio show) about needing "to deliver innocent children from same-sex households." He didn't limit his view to the Miller/Jenkins case—he simply used that case as his springboard to condemn gay parents everywhere!

Come on, AFA. Your body of rhetoric is bad enough. Don't be spineless too!
