Audio: Focus on the Family tells trans kids they need help for 'very treatable disorder'
Speaking on the subject of the California law that safeguards transponder students while they are trying to learn in the state's public schools, Focus on the Family's resident "ex-gay," Jeff Johnston, says the following about trans children:

And let's be real: this is really what this whole anti-trans effort is all about. It's not about "protecting" kids, as this ignoble coalition (headed by NOM's Frank Schubert) wants you to believe. The truth is that they want to remake trans kids in their own image. They want to flout credible scientific opinion and replace it with their own junk version.
They're trying to put snake oil on the lunch menu.
