Oh good, another cable reality TV 'culture war' to fight. Because that's what we all wanted.
I used to cover Flip Benham before I determined that his fringe anti-LGBT (among anti–other things) antics were too over the top to even dignify. However, it seems the HGTV network thinks Flip Behnam's sons, one of whom has publicly bemoaned "homosexuality and its agenda that is attacking the nation" and compared fighting marriage equality to fighting Nazis, are perfectly mainstream enough for a reality TV show.

So far, HGTV has not responded to the nascent controversy. Neither have Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, or various Fox News personalities, which means that for the time being, everyone who is talking about this can utilize their free speech without having that concept bastardized for the sake of the anti-gay far-right's self-victimization.
