Anti-gay NOM unable to sway #NY22 in favor of anti-equality Tenney
The National Organization For Marriage knew that the Republican primary in New York's 22nd congressional district was going to be a low turnout affair, so the pro-discrimination special interest group threw over $25,000 (reported so far) at the campaign of the anti-equality conservative who was hoping to unseat incumbent GOP Rep. Richard Hanna. Last night Hanna, who is only one of three GOP House members to support marriage equality, came out the victor over NOM-backed Claudia Tenney:

Another satisfying loss brought to you by NOM. I'll have to say, ever since 2012, they do the whole not-winning thing really, really, really well. It's artistry, really.
