For NC banquet, FRC assembes one of most anti-gay crews imaginable
Kenyn Cureton believes the gay people are "pawns in the hands of their malevolent master...the devil":
Ron Baity equates homosexuality with murder, implies that gay relations are worse than what maggots do, and insists gay people need to "quit being homos":
Mark Harris doesn't want people seeing gay relationships as "fine and dandy":

Rick Scarborough teaches that AIDS is a judgement for homosexuality:
Jerry Boykin admits he doesn't think homosexuality is normal but does believe it's "a chosen lifestyle":
David Benham, the far more outspoken of the Benham brothers, believes that his fight against LGBT rights is "a fight against satan":
And in just a few weeks, all of these men will gather in one place for an officially sanction Family Research Council event in Asheville, NC:
It's seriously impossible to assemble a more hostile team. From trying to "change" us to viciously attacking our love to literally suggesting that an unseen evil force is scripting our lives, these gentlemen make up some of anti-LGBT activism's most overheated and most ardent opponents. If their collective goal were to become reality, it's frightening to think what it would mean for an LGBT American.
In this game of political dodgeball, FRC has every right to choose this team. It does not have the right to force us all to accept the fantasy that this team is "pro-family" and not what it truly is: exceedingly anti-gay.
