POTUS's pen to openly mock time-wasting, discrimination-tolerating House Republicans
The LGBT news of the day, if not year:
President Barack Obama will sign an executive order barring federal contractors from discriminating against employees on the basis of their sexual orientation, a White House official confirmed Monday, after years of pressure from LGBT groups and Democratic lawmakers.

There will come a pride month when the simple right to not be fired because of who you are won't be cause for celebration. But since now is still now—yay, progress!
So far, the wrong side of history has been surprisingly silent on this afternoon development. But it's Monday, so many of the usual anti-gay groups are probably performing their beginning-of-the-week interrogations in which they demand to know that all weekend activity was perfectly hetero.
