Virginia anti-equality org to starve selves in hopes of halting legal rights, committed families, happiness
The Virginia Family Foundation, the chief organization fighting LGBT people's basic rights and welfare in that state, is telling its supports to go on a forty-day fast geared toward marriage and the Supreme Court:
40 Days For Marriage [Family Foundation]
No, no, this time frame would not work for me. I love pumpkin, butternut squash, cider, and all the culinary abundance that autumn has to offer. Way too much yummy stuff to deny my gut.
Oh yeah—and I am madly in love with my husband and our family, and I am militantly and unapologetically opposed to people imposing their chosen faith beliefs onto civil society and public policy. So there's that, too.
