Phyllis Schlafly: It's 'not just the gays' who murdered the American family

by Jeremy Hooper

Phyllis Schlafly has written a new book (published by WorldNetDaily) titled Who Killed the American Family? But don't get the wrong idea, "the gays"—we didn't perform this murder all by ourselves. See, in an email promoting her book, Ms. Schlafly admits we had some accomplices in this familial homicide:

Yes, that is where Ms. Schafly's long held and wrongheaded career has taken her: she is literally now playing "culture war" Clue in hopes of determining who, other than "the gays" of course, has marked the American family for death. She has appointed herself the detective; the rest of us are all in the harsh light of the interrogation seat hoping to prove that our families are, in fact, decent enough to answer Inspector Schafly's morally superior questioning.

But if you ask me, Phyl should start by questioning the man on her own book jacket:

I know the idea is that this guy is all depressed because the gays and accomplices destroyed his apparently fragile bond to his wife and children. But to me, it looks like he actually spent the day chopping down family trees for sport and now he's checking that the evidence sunk to the bottom of the rocky lake. And no, I don't buy whatever tearful please he makes on the local news. He did it. Stop protecting him, Phyl!
