Read: Kansas on track to become thirty-third marriage equality state
US District Court Judge Daniel D. Crabtree today ruled in favor of marriage equality in the state of Kansas. The ruling is stayed until 5pm on Nov. 11 (a week from today), at which point the Sunflower State would become our thirty-third.
Here's the order:
As of press time, election returns do not indicate whether or not Kansas voters have ousted incumbent governor Sam Brownback, a conservative who, as US Senator, was one of the Bush era's worst foes of marriage equality. A lovely parting gift, perhaps?
