Focus on the Family spent #BlackFriday devaluing gay lives
Here's the email blast (with fundraising button attached, natch) that the longtime anti-LGBT group sent out the day after Thanksgiving:
And of course the advertised resource guide gives "advice" that all culminates in a "don't be gay" message. After all these years and so many failures on that front, those who are determined to make our neighbors write us off as broken, immoral art projects in need of restoration are sticking with the deeply offensive and highly discredited idea that we should "change."
Makes the trample-happy, overcrowded, crass commerce of Black Friday seem not so bad in comparison.
