The worst #GivingTuesday campaign out there?
Today is Giving Tuesday. The day was created by two pro-LGBT organizations, 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation, as a day to eschew holiday consumerism and instead place focus on social good.
Enter the National Organization For Marriage, which is instead using the day to foster its cherished (and sole) cause of discrimination against same-sex couples:

If #GivingTuesday were an office holiday party, then NOM just placed a turd in the punch bowl.
If you all want to start a #JudgementalThursday, #FearmongeringFriday, or #WeSayWhoGetsToWedWednesday, then go right ahead. But don't kid yourself, NOM: you are not an organization working for social good (or even its near approximation).
