Watch Gov. Pence heap praise on lobbying group that admitted #SB101 was all about same-sex marriage
Advance America, an anti-LGBT lobbying group whose head has admitted it sees homosexuality itself as wrong, led a major lobbying effort on behalf of Indiana's now-infamous "religious freedom" law. And in every last material Advance American put out, they fully admitted that getting back at and around same-sex marriage was the intent:
But hey, how would Governor Pence know that this lobbying group was saying such things in order to sell the bill? I mean, it's not like he's a big fan or a close ally or anything.
Oh wait a minute, no—he TOTALLY is;
When Pence signed the bill, his pal Eric Miller was right there at the signing. Because of course he was.
You "abhor discrimination," governor? You sure?

I guess in order to realize he "abhors discrimination," the governor had to spend a decade witnessing it up close.
