AL Chief Justice Roy Moore calls marriage equality worse than segregation decision
Just galling:
Washington (CNN)The chief justice of Alabama's Supreme Court and a leading opponent of same-sex marriage on Friday called the Supreme Court's ruling to legalize gay and lesbian nuptials nationwide "even worse" than the Court's 19th century decision to uphold racial segregation.
"I believe it's worse because it affects our entire system of morality and family values," Ray Moore told CNN in a phone interview Friday.

There's been a lot of talk this week about how some of us are trying to eradicate certain views and beliefs and cultural symbols, particularly of the segregated south. When it comes to views like this, then I am guilty as charged. Proudly. Unapologetically.
